The players are ready. Nebraska should be too.
Girls across Nebraska are already playing flag football - competing, building teams, developing skills and dreaming about what comes next. Now it’s time to give them the opportunity to represent their high schools.
Our goal
Get girls flag football recognized as a Nebraska high school sport.
We're working to get girls flag football recognized as a Nebraska high school sport through the Nebraska School Activities Association (NSAA). We’re looking for one Athletic Director willing to take the first step — to explore sponsoring a proposal and helping start the process.
But we don’t want just one AD to hear about it. The more Athletic Directors who hear from their students, families, coaches and communities, the stronger the case becomes.
ONE Athletic Director CAN START IT. A STATEWIDE VOICE CAN MOVE IT FORWARD.
Because girls who love this sport deserve the same opportunity to:
Represent their school
Compete at the high school level
Build leadership and teamwork skills
Continue playing a sport they love
Create a pathway from youth sports to college athletics
And the opportunity is already growing.
